**Mould Removal Northwest Ltd – 12-Month Warranty Terms and Conditions**

 Mould Removal Northwest Ltd offers a 12-month warranty on all mould remediation work performed, subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. **Coverage of Warranty**

This warranty applies only to areas within the property that have been inspected and treated by Mould

Removal Northwest Ltd as part of the agreed service. Untreated or inaccessible areas are not covered.

2. **Duration of Warranty**

The warranty period is 12 months from the date of completion of the remediation work.

3. **Client Responsibility**

To maintain the validity of this warranty, the homeowner, tenant, or landlord must:

  • Follow all recommendations provided in the initial assessment report.
  • Maintain proper ventilation and indoor humidity levels (ideally between 40–60%).
  • Address any plumbing leaks, condensation issues, or moisture ingress immediately.
  • Always keep the treated areas clean and dry.

4. **Reporting Mould Reoccurrence**

Any signs of recurring mould growth must be reported to Mould Removal Northwest Ltd within **7 calendar days** of discovery. Failure to report within this time frame may result in the warranty being voided due to potential further damage or spread.

5. **Exclusions from Warranty**

The warranty does **not** cover:

  • Mould regrowth caused by ongoing moisture intrusion, negligence, or failure to follow post-treatment advice.
  • Areas not originally treated during the service.
  • Mould resulting from new water damage, flooding, or building defects that occur after the service.
  • Cosmetic changes such as staining or discolouration that may persist after treatment.
  • Damage caused by third-party contractors or unauthorised repairs.
  • Replacement of silicon around windows, bathtubs, sinks and showers.

6. **Inspection Upon Claim**

All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Mould Removal Northwest Ltd to determine the cause of recurrence. We reserve the right to deny a claim if it is determined that the issue resulted from client negligence or external factors beyond our control.

7. **Remedy Under Warranty**

If a valid warranty claim is accepted, Mould Removal will return to re-treat the affected area(s) at no additional cost, subject to access and availability. This remedy is limited to the original scope of work and excludes replacement of damaged materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. **Transferability**

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original client and property for which the service was performed.

9. **Limitation of Liability**

Mould Removal Northwest Ltd shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising out of or related to the presence of mould or the performance of remediation services. Our liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of re-treatment.

10. **Termination of Warranty**

The warranty will be void if:

  • The client fails to comply with the maintenance requirements outlined above.
  • Unauthorised modifications or treatments are performed in the treated area(s) by third parties.
  • The property undergoes significant structural change or damage without notification.

By accepting our services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these warranty terms and conditions.
